Are you feeling frustrated by the amount of testing currently suggested for elementary students? Testing remains the main topic of conversation at many schools, and the sense that teachers have not been heard—or listened to—regarding this issue is common at many sites.

The Association has conveyed your concerns regarding excessive testing to the Administration. A testing taskforce has met and identified concerns—and possible solutions. A review of the current testing plans for the district is under way by Dr. Brown. We hope that modification of the present schedule will be forthcoming.
